Me… my name is Jikanet, well, not my real name and it’s very classified, but don’t worry, I’m not a hacker who tries to hack your banking account or bring forth a Network Crisis in real life… just someone who always wanted to do this for fun. I know It’s a shame any of you can’t ever find out my real name, but I hope you respect my privacy. But maybe one day I hope, privately.
One more thing, I’m the one who owned a .hack fan account under the name @dothackrevival on Twitter.
My story about .hack series
Let’s talk about the .hack series in my story. The first time I’ve ever played a .hack series is .hack//G.U. Vol.3 Redemption in 2007 or 2008, well I don’t know, it’s been so long. At least when I was about 3rd grade elementary school. Well, you see, I love RPG, even for Kingdom Hearts, Persona, Final Fantasy, and many more RPG series that I would play, as long it wasn’t too hard and very interesting for me. and the .hack series will be one of my favorite RPG games I’ve ever played.
Whenever I jump into a .hack series like the G.U. series, it’s not just about how to experience the simulation MMO, for me, it’s about the gameplay, atmosphere, races, combat, and most of the favorite is music that brings the game to life. And I’m so excited about what this could bring. Well, I stopped following the series in 2014 but was just brought back into it when they announced the HD remastered version of the G.U. series, .hack//G.U. Last Recode on PlayStation 4 and Steam.
I played it on Steam and finished all three volumes, including the fourth volume, the additional story to .hack//G.U. Last Recode.
It’s strange and coincidental that I started the series with .hack//G.U. and was brought back with .hack//G.U. Last Recode, it was somehow me and G.U. series are connected by fate. Haseo is always my favorite protagonist ever, he might be like an asshole back then, but three volumes and fourth volumes brought him to places where he can grow and understand bonds and power within the people he met. Such a satisfying story that I’ve ever played, he always be the GOAT (Greatest of all time).
Right now, the community, including me, is working on putting our voice and message higher to the Bandai Namco, asking them to revitalize the .hack series and it is time for us to bring back the excitement and enjoyment we had with the series and hopefully our interest, voice, appreciation, and every inch of our wills will reach them. If only Bandai doesn’t being a D*ck and accepting our request.
It’s good for us to continue making this beloved series exist in this current era, this series must be preserved at all costs.
I also hope that .hack//Link getting a sequel story and more Saika Amagi, lol.
My favorite for other things
I do love anime, manga, and movies, well I also love novels but don’t read them, unless it’s interesting for me. I always follow the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) films and almost didn’t miss them to watch, and of course, I love anime and manga too.
Attack on Titan, Naruto/Boruto, SOLO LEVELING, Tower of God, Tokyo Ghoul, and many more are my favorites and I always cherish them in my mind whenever I think about them. Just so that everyone should know, that I always love ONE PIECE, but damn it!! It’s way too long and I can’t even catch all of it, especially since I had more focus going on that I can’t even concentrate on catching all that for that long, so it’s impossible. But at least I watched ONE PIECE Live Action on NETFLIX.
Oh, I forgot to mention that I also love the ULTRAMAN series, always been one of the best tokusatsu series ever, and there’s GRIDMAN. I hope a new ULTRA GALAXY FIGHT will come here.
So many things I liked and it’s the most fantastic experience that I’ve ever witnessed, it’s truly given me the motivation to live on (I think), and I hope the future will be more interesting with more anime, manga, movie, and tokusatsu coming after.
I also loved other games, let’s say, KINGDOM HEARTS, FINAL FANTASY, METAL GEAR SOLID, PERSONA, DEVIL MAY CRY, ASSASSIN’S CREED, TEKKEN, and more. Of course .hack series is one of my favorites list and I consider them the best.
My work on Fanfiction and translation
I was the writer of two fanfiction books related to the .hack//Link series such as TO THE SHINING YOU and THE FEELINGS. From now on, I will be putting all my fanfic stories here on my website. If I wanna create more, that depends on my schedule and ideas that need to be more solid and tie knots altogether. Hopefully, I can always come back here and write more about fanfic.
I will translate all related information from the old and current ones (hopefully there’s a new one), and it will be exclusive to the .hack series. Well, if you wanna do the story translation, I think Kazetrigger can handle it, and if you want me to translate any information related to other series, well… unfortunately you had to ask someone else to do it. My job for translation is to bring the information that all .hack series fans didn’t know and hopefully could prolong the existence and history of the franchise.
Well, I do want to do another translation project soon… hopefully… depending on my work schedule.
About Me (Personally)
Once again, I apologize for not telling where I came from or even what my real name is, but I hope you understand, that once they found out everything about me, it would be the biggest hell of the mess in every entire of my life and it kills me a lot. (But I won’t do exaggerated things).
To be honest, I kind of myself as an introvert and silencer (well, not entirely 100%, trust me). I may be less talk with other people, even with my family (almost), to be honest though, I do want to talk or even communicate with them, but due to difficulties me to receive all of their words, speak volumes, the way they speak, they way they act toward me and their arrogance (well, I think this one just my assumption, I aware that they didn’t mean like that).
Whenever I speak to anybody, even to my family, my anxiety and fear become higher and I have always been asked a lot of things that I could not know (and they forced me to know about it), also blaming me for something that I didn’t even do anything (well, I understand that they tried to advise or scold me because they cared about me, but I used to be blamed for what I did that I didn’t even understand about. Well, that’s just how cruel the world is, but once again they did care about me of course), whenever I liked to talk to them, at the end of the day, I was the one who got blamed (I’m not trying to play a victim, that’s how I’ve been gone through). But I did communicate with friends at school and work tho, even though I went less for it, but I just enjoyed the flow.
That’s why, Social Media is the only place I can freely and confidently talk about what I am interested in, I am always open to trying and talking to people in Social Media. Well, at least wanna try to learn to communicate without going toward my personal space and of course, because I don’t want to.
