.hack//Link: To the Shining You is a fan-made story or fanfic (that should be easy to explain), focused on the reunion between two main characters, Tokio and Saika. It is reimagined and completely remade from the original .hack//Link (PSP) ending.
The purpose of my writing this fanfic is to bring a new weight of emotions and current appeals to the story while bringing more depth and new sides between two characters regarding what happened to them after the event of Immortal Dusk.
There will be some major changes and new story elements added to expand the story and give two more depth to the character.
The story takes place a year following the event of Immortal Dusk, so we’ll see how much Tokio and Saika have been holding up and how it has led up to their reunion.
I won’t forget about Flugel/Sogabe though, so it’s all cool.
SYNOPSIS
Reunion can sometimes leave an impression on them, after a long separation, can be sweet or bitter… or perhaps, both.
A year following the event of IMMORTAL DUSK.
The world has changed since that event, even though it already returned to a peaceful day. Tokio Kuryuu returns to his normal life after his adventure in the online game, THE WORLD, but his life now has changed, even just a little, and he brings something to good use for himself and to others, but that won’t satisfy his heart.
AIKA is dead, and Saika disappeared without any trace, causing everything to seem to be bittersweet.
But he wants to make sure that, he won’t forget that day, the day that he adventured to the world along with Saika, AIKA, and people he met along the way, that’s how he keeps moving forward, and being who he is now.
And then once calls, came to him, bring him the unexpected news…
“Saika-Chan? You found her?”
And so, the reunion between them soon will begin...
